The prodigy from Ipswich showed so much promise and beat the record transfer fee for his hometown club when Newcastle came knocking with 6 million pounds. Dyer is today plying his trade as a first team coach at Chesterfield.

You cant mention Dyer without mentioning Lee Bowyer. The infamous fight happened on April 2, 2005 when an argument became an on-pitch brawl. Both Dyer and Bowyer were fined and banned by club and the FA, but in 2006 the Newcastle Magistrates' court fined Bowyer £600 and ordered him to pay £1,000 costs after he pleaded guilty to sparking the brawl.
