GW9: The Haaland & Foden Show

Fantasy Premier League
Hello everyone FPL_Robbo here and its time for another look back at last week and a forward look to GW10.

Blue Moon Magic

The Manc derby is always a great watch and this one did not disappoint. Citeh ran out 6-3 winners, hat-tricks from Haaland and Foden saw off a late comeback from the Red Devils. Haaland scored a terrific 23 FPL points this weekend and takes him to 14 goals this season. He is on for 50+ goals in the league this season if he continues at the rate he is on.

Toon Trouble

The Toon army travelled in numbers this weekend down to Fulham to see their team win 4-1. Goals from Almrion x2, Wilson and Longstaff saw the magpies beat a depleted 10 man team. Nathaniel Chalobah’s early red card was a hint of what was going to come for Marco Silva’s men as only in the 88th minute did Fulham find a goal through Bobby DeCordova Reid with Neeskens Kebano grabbing an unlikely assist.

Triple Trossard

Liverpool were held to a 3-3 draw thanks to a hat-trick from Brighton’s Trossard. Liverpool did go 2-0 down inside 20 minutes until they pulled it back through a Bobby Firmino double and the took the lead through an Adam Webster own goal. Late on the Belgian struck again to take home the match ball.

Here is your preview for GW10

Haaland to strike?

Man City have yet another home game this time against a struggling Southampton team. Erling Haaland has scored 3 hat-tricks in his last 3 home games and once again. CAPTAIN HIM if you haven’t already!

Newcastle CS

Newcastle are back at home this week and have 6 points from 4 games at home this season and 2 clean sheets along the way. Brentford aren’t in the best from only winning 1 in the last 6 league games. St James park has been a fortress in the last year. Can they keep another clean sheet.
