Who is Mart Poom?

Mart Poom was a highly regarded Estonian goalkeeper with a long and varied career. He began in Estonia and Finland before moving to England, where he played for Portsmouth, Derby County, Sunderland, Arsenal, and Watford. Notably, he became a fan favorite at Derby County and scored a memorable headed goal for Sunderland against his former club. At Arsenal, he earned a Champions League runners-up medal. Poom was a stalwart for the Estonian national team, earning 120 caps and being named Estonian Footballer of the Year six times. After retiring, he transitioned into coaching, becoming the goalkeeping coach for the Estonian national team.
