Who is Keith Gillespie?
Keith Gillespie was a right winger who began his career at Manchester United, where he was part of the famous "Class of '92." He moved to Newcastle United, where he became a key player in their exciting team of the mid-1990s. He also played in the Premier League for Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City, and Sheffield United, winning the League Cup with Blackburn. Towards the end of his career, he had spells with Glentoran in Northern Ireland and Longford Town in the Republic of Ireland. Gillespie earned 86 caps for Northern Ireland and was known for his pace and crossing ability. He has been open about his struggles with gambling addiction, which impacted his career and finances.
