Who is Darren Peacock?
Darren Peacock was a centre-back who played nearly 400 league appearances in his career. He began his professional career in the lower leagues with Newport County and Hereford United, where he was voted player of the year. He then moved to Queens Park Rangers, where he gained prominence in the First Division. His performances earned him a £2.7 million transfer to Newcastle United, where he played under Kevin Keegan and was part of the team that challenged for the Premier League title.
