Who is Chris Bart-Williams?
Chris Bart-Williams was a versatile footballer who played as both a defender and midfielder. Born in Sierra Leone, he began his professional career at Leyton Orient before moving to Sheffield Wednesday, where he gained prominence in the Premier League. He was part of the Wednesday team that reached the FA Cup Final and also played in their European campaign. Bart-Williams then moved to Nottingham Forest, where he had a successful spell, even becoming their top scorer in one season. He also played for Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town in England, and later had stints in Cyprus and Malta. After retiring, Bart-Williams transitioned into coaching in the United States, working with various teams and programs, including the Boston Breakers and Quinnipiac University men's soccer team. He also ran his own soccer training and college recruiting service.
